The game was one we probably should have won. I think we were the better team, but we made too many mistakes. Pitman found a way to win.

This is a great opportunity for us to make a mark. This is a championship game, and it is worth everything.

Closing out tight games -- that's been our nemesis. And to finally solve it and come back to win a game speaks volumes about this team.

I put it on the girls' shoulders at that point. It's like, how bad do you want it?

They certainly put up points. They're going to be lightning quick and will probably press the whole way.

It was a good experience for the girls because they'll know what to do when they play a team like this in the state play-offs. They now have that mind-set and experience and will use it for next season.

There was no 'Win one of the Gipper,' speech and I don't believe in saying the score is 0-0 and go out and try to win the second half. The score is what it is. We went out, played hard and played a lot better in the second half.

It would have been a lot nicer if it was prettier. We haven't closed a game until now. This was a tight game and we closed it.

We crashed the boards really well tonight, and I was really impressed with the way we boxed out.
